Heating stage for glass coverslips, TC-CSC

Ready to use system for samples cultured/placed on coverslips. Used with bath chambers for replaceable coverslips, CSC. Replaceable slips allow to culture cells before performing experiments. Keeps temperature steady even if used with perfusion systems. The heater preheats perfusion solution before it enters the chamber. The bottom part of the chamber is aluminum to facilitate heat transfer. The glass is clamped with O-ring to isolate solution from the metal bottom. Inline heated Teflon tubing fits manifolds included with perfusion systems. Includes a miniature holder to position the temperature probe anywhere around your sample. Can be used for imaging and fluorescence as well as recording. The open chamber design offers the advantages of using with water immersion optics of upright microscopes, fluorescence imaging with inverted microscopes, option to apply substances locally through miniature manifolds, and ability to perform electrophysiological recordings. Can be used with 35 mm petri dishes. Consider adding a miniature and controlled flow perfusion systems. Requires a microscope adapter. Consider adding an outflow unit for suction to remove solution from the chamber during perfusion. Requires a temperature controller. Click on image to enlarge.

Heating Element with 35mm clearance, TC-E35

Fits 35mm dishes and chambers. Whole bottom is open, which makes it ideal for replaceable coverslip chambers. The heating element incorporates replaceable Teflon perfusion tubing inside, which makes the element to work as inline preheater. Since some brands of petri dishes have different diameter, reducing adapters TC-PA might be required. Requires a microscope adapters with 50mm mounting opening. Requires a temperature controller.
