Large volume heated chamber for 25mm coverslips
This is an example of a large volume heated chamber for live imaging of
rat kangaroo cells undergoing mitosis, and to apply various mechanical and molecular perturbations to their cytoskeleton.
The chamber allows a large volume to be put on top of 25mm glass coverslip. Both bottom and top are heated. Designed for UCSF.
Overall dimensions are 128x86mm, which is the size of standard multi-well plates (fits on most microscopes).
Built-in temperature sensors and distributed heating elements provide
high temperature stability and eliminates a temperature shock during sample manipulation.
The custom chamber can be designed so it does not change the top surface of the stage or its functionality.
Can be upgraded with an objective heater TC-HLS-05/025.
Requires a 2-channel temperature controller.
