Heating Element with 20/15mm aperture, TC-E35x15/20/25
Fits 35mm dishes (might require TC-PA reducing O-ring). The whole bottom is heated to eliminate temperature gradient,
which makes it ideal for Petri dishes, including glass
bottom dishes. Wide 15-25mm aperture to access your sample with
immersion optics from the bottom. Built-in temperature sensor. Since some brands of
Petri dishes have
different diameter, reducing adapters TC-PA might be required. Incorporates PTFE
perfusion tubing, which makes the element to work as inline
pre-heater. Requires a

If wider opening is required, use TC-E35 with 35mm aperture.
Heating Element with 11/5mm aperture, TC-E35x5/11
Fits 35mm dishes. The whole bottom is heated to eliminate temperature gradient,
which makes it ideal for Petri dishes, including glass
bottom dishes with small optical window. Built-in temperature
sensor. Since some brands of Petri dishes have different diameter, reducing adapters TC-PA might be required.

Adapters, reducing rings, for Petri dishes, TC-PA-
For different brands of 35mm dishes. Since different brands have different diameter, a reducing ring is required to facilitate heat
transfer to the side surface of the dish.
The reducing ring also helps to center the dish inside the heating element. Select the appropriate adapter from the table below.
If your brand of the dish is not listed, we might be able to find the right adapter if you send us a sample of the dish.
Adapter, reducing ring, for 50mm hating elements, TC-PA50
This reducing ring is used to bring the internal diameter of 50mm heating elements down to 38mm to fit
CSC chambers and 35mm dishes. Another rings might be required to fit your brand of Petri dishes, TC-PA-xx.
The reducing ring also helps to center the dish inside the heating element. Select the appropriate adapter from the table below.
If your brand of the dish is not listed, we might be able to find the right adapter if you send us a sample of the dish.

Note: This heater is well suited for glass bottom dishes, that have flat bottom, for use with any optics.
However, some plastic Petri dishes have a protruding rim on the bottom, which elevates the dish above the surface.
Optional metal shims and thermal compounds are used to eliminate this gap,
and to conduct the heat to the dish.
This allows you to use the heater with regular plastic Petri dishes as well.
Due to the elevated positioning of the dish, the effective optical clearance (11/15mm) might be decreased if used with Plastic dish
and oil immersion optics. For this configuration, 35mm clearance heater is recommended.
