This computer based system can automate any protocol or process, which involve solution switching, mixing, flow control, testsubstance application and environment manipulation. In addition to solution switching, the package can monitor and control external parameters: temperature, C02, and pressure, for example. Can be also used to automate your routine sample treatment or staining procedure. Ships installed on a computer and ready to use: preprogrammed, and configured according to your specific protocol requests. This automation will save you considerable amount of time and ingredients. You do not have to dilute chemicals to the required concentrations, and software will dispense just necessary amount of solution to perform the reactions. Can work in parallel with our programmable data acquisition system.

We will build necessary components to fit your custom system to perfuse organs and animals, and even will preprogram the system to prime the setup before running the experiment. Works with our standard perfusion, flow, and temperature controllers, which can be linked to the same computer port. Up to 320 channels can be controlled directly. The actual possibilities are unlimited, if digital output ports of the controllers are also used to manipulate external devices indirectly.

Using our proprietary controllers, you can work with any hardware, which accepts 8-bit digital I/O or/and TTL signals. The controller can read digital and analog signals to program triggered events. This can be used to control the process by external software, imaging, for example. Up to 10 controllers can be connected to the same computer port. If you want to control the process remotely, an Internet friendly version can be supplied for local network or World Wide Web installation.

The package comprises two major parts: editing and hardware control. Initially, you create or open an existing protocol. Adjust the required solution application and mixing sequences, and then, run the protocol when needed again and again.

The execution part allows you not only run the protocol automatically but switch channels and external devices manually. With simple and user friendly interface, the protocol can be stopped at any time. The time sequence can be verified by accessing the time log. Click on the images to enlarge the screen shots. 8-Channel Enhanced Perfusion Controller, CFPS-UC8

Used with multiple 2-channel modules CFPS-2U to form multi-channel controlled flow system to perfuse several setups in parallel or to mix several solutions. The 2-channel modules CFPS-2U can be mounted together to form a single unit or separately for multiple individual setups. Precise manual flow control by 10-turn dials. Reverse direction mode. Fast overdrive mode to fill the lines. Automatic mode to switch back to control solutions. Analog input for each channel to control flow rate. Switch manually, by TTL inputs and through serial RS232 port. Compatible with data acquisition systems and imaging software. Includes enhanced features, which facilitate building software controlled perfusion systems. In addition to manual control, flow rate can be regulated through sending software code over serial RS232 (or USB) connection. Has additional two 8-bit digital I/O ports to control external devices, plus four 10-bit analog inputs to read external signals (temperature, for example). The I/O ports can be used to control our PS25 perfusion systems to switch multiple solutions through the same channel or high power switches to turn high current devices (pumps, for example). The controller has two inputs for our disposable flow meters to work with high flow rate pumps.
