to eliminate temperature gradient, the dish is heated from the bottom. Optical
clearance is 15mm diameter (the heater with 11mm clearance for 12mm wells is also available). If larger clearance is required, the heater for glass coverslips should be used. The petri dish can
remain covered during observation. Built-in sensor for temperature
stability and overheating protection. An external temperature probe of
temperature controllers can be positioned inside the dish if needed using

Closed Controlled Environment for Petri Dishes.
Uses polarization-free glass coverslips to form optical quality surfaces to
control media, atmosphere (pH), and to prevent condensation. Perfect for
fluorescence imaging. Easy to assemble. Has inside reservoir for water to
prevent media evaporation during long time imaging. Incorporates luer connector for gas
mixture input. Includes a set of adjustable tubing holders to position
perfusion tubing for
continuous media exchange. The included petri dish
insert (fits glass bottom dishes) has separate compartments for solution inflow
and outflow to provide smooth perfusion and to prevent bubbles from entering the
working area. Consider adding a miniature perfusion and
controlled flow system. Included Teflon inside tubing preheats solution, and fits
perfusion systems. Can be upgraded with an
objective heater for immersion optics. Can be used with standard 35mm petri
dishes (optional petri dish adapters and perfusion
insert might be required). The system can be also
used with coverslip holders (replaceable coverslips)
for high resolution imaging. Requires a microscope
